School Day

School opens at 8.55am and closes at 3.15pm.

Morning Break  All 10:30am - 10:50am 
Midday Break Infants 12:00pm - 1:10pm
  Juniors 12:10pm - 1:10pm

Children must not arrive in school before 8.45am.

Teaching hours

Each day is split into three sessions, two in the morning and one in the afternoon.
The hours spent on teaching during a normal school day (or week), including religious education but excluding the statutory daily act of worship, registration, lunch and other breaks are:

 Infants  – 22.5 hours per week

 Juniors – 23.5 hours per week

Parking

Parents who bring their children to school by car are reminded that parking or waiting in the prohibited (yellow lined) area in front of the school endangers the children and breaks the law.

Transport

Free transport is available for infants who live further than 2 miles from the school.  It is also available for junior children living more than 3 miles from the school.  Applications have to be made to the Local Education Authority.  Full details are available from the school office.

Lunches

The school currently provides an excellent hot midday meal service. 
The three week menu is on our school meals page which can be accessed here, and is also available from the school office.  Baked potatoes and fresh baguettes are also available. 
Payment for such meals should be made on Monday mornings in a clearly marked envelope for that week. 
Pupils wishing to bring a packed lunch are 
required to eat within a reserved section of the eating area, it is requested that only non-breakable drink containers be brought to school.
